Boardman Park hosts 227 acres of greenspace located in the heart of Boardman, Ohio. Our "Green Oasis" is a sanctuary for local plants and animals, and a recreational haven - providing amenities like open-air pavilions, softball fields, hike & bike trails, playgrounds and more!

Memorial Day Parade and Service
The 114th Boardman Memorial Day Parade begins at 

Boardman Center Intermediate School at  10 AM, travels down 224 and ends at Boardman Park.

Immediately following the Parade, join us at the Maag Theatre for a program 

honoring our Veterans led by the Kiwanis Club of Boardman.  

Mr. Jim Freeze, Executive Director of Goodwill Industries, West Point graduate, and Army Veteran who

served two tours in the Iraq War, is the Parade Grand Marshall and featured 

speaker at the Memorial Service. Mr. William Wainio will give the 

invocation. Lt. Colonel Bill Moss, USAF Retired, will lead the 

Pledge of Allegiance and place a wreath in honor of our 

deceased veterans. The Boardman High School National Honor Society 

will place a wreath in honor of our currently serving military personnel.  

Mr. Mark Luke of the Boardman Kiwanis will serve as Master of 

Ceremonies for the Memorial Service. The Boardman High School Marching Band will march in the Parade

and provide music for the Memorial Service. 

In the event of rain, the service will be held in the 

Boardman Center Intermediate School Auditorium.
